<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Special meeting of the City Council- December 15,1997. <br /> <br />6:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The City Council met on the above date with the following members present: Goedeke, ROLL CALL <br />Maschka, and Acting Mayor Wiski. Mayor Wall arrived at 7:20 p.m.. Members absent: <br />Mastel. <br /> <br />A. <br />A-I <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS AND PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />Maschka moved, Goedeke seconded, that a check in the amount of $2,400, <br />presented to the City of Roseville by Senior Pastor Galen Call, of Grace <br />Church Roseville, for the purchase of a defibrillator for the Police Department <br />be accepted. Roll Call, Ayes: Goedeke, Maschka, and Wiski. Nays: None. <br /> <br />GRACE <br />CHURCH <br />ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />B. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />B-1 Maschka moved, Goedeke seconded, that the minutes of the regular meeting of MINUTES <br />December 8, 1997, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Goedeke, Maschka, and <br />Wiski. Nays: None. <br /> <br />c. <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />Maschka moved, Goedeke seconded, that the Consent Agenda, Items C-l, <br />C-2, C-3 and C-5, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Goedeke, Maschka, and <br />Wiski. Nays: None. <br /> <br />CONSENT <br />AGENDA <br /> <br />C-l Maschka moved, Goedeke seconded, that an allocation of up to $3,000 from the ACTIVITY <br />1997 Contingent Account be approved for the repair of the Activity Center CENTER <br />roof. Roll Call, Ayes: Goedeke, Maschka, and Wiski. Nays: None. ROOF <br /> <br />C-2 <br /> <br />Maschka moved, Goedeke seconded, that Resolution 9496, accepting the work <br />completed under 1996 Contract A, starting the one year warranty and <br />authorizing final payment to T. A. Schifsky & Sons, North St. Paul, MN, in the <br />amount of $97,506.54, be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Goedeke, Maschka, and <br />Wiski. Nays: None. <br /> <br />C-3 <br /> <br />Maschka moved, Goedeke seconded, that an extension of the contract with <br />Super Cycle for curbside collection of recyclables for the period January 1, <br />1998 through December 31, 1998, at a cost of $2.07 per household per month <br />and reducing the number of households to 9,200, and eliminating the receipt <br />by the City of one-third of the revenues from the sale of the recyc1ables, be <br />approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Goedeke, Maschka, and Wiski.
