<br />Wiski moved, Goedeke seconded, that City staffbe directed to begin the City's
<br />recruitment process for filling the general business representative for a
<br />Roseville Convention and Visitors Bureau. Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka, Mastel,
<br />Wiski, Goedeke, and Wall. Nays: None.

<br />Wiski moved, Goedeke seconded, that the hotel/motel industry begin its
<br />selection process for its two designated Board positions on the Roseville
<br />Convention and Visitors Bureau. Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka, Mastel, Wiski,
<br />Goedeke, and Wall. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Council changed the order of the agenda at this time as follows:

<br />H-l Mastel moved, Wiski seconded, that the Lake Owasso Safe Boating
<br />Association's request for permit from the Ramsey County Sheriff to place a
<br />water-ski course and water-ski jump on Lake Owasso for 1998 be approved.
<br />Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka, Mastel, Wiski, Goedeke, and Wall. Nays: None.

<br />The meeting was recessed for a 10 minute break at this time.

<br />Wiski moved, Maschka seconded, that Lexington Plaza, LLC request for
<br />rezoning property from B-2 Retail Business to B-4 Retail Office Service and
<br />from B-2 to PUD at 1682 - 1754 Lexington Avenue North-Lexington Plaza
<br />be denied based on the parallel uses that would be proposed or permitted and
<br />those not being consistent with the Comprehensive Plan and Shopping Center
<br />and neighborhood relationship. Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka, Mastel, Wiski,
<br />Goedeke, and Wall. Nays: None.

<br />Maschka moved, Mastel seconded, that consideration of a proposed Right-of-
<br />way Ordinance be continued to the regular City Council meeting of Monday,
<br />April 20, 1998. Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka, Mastel, Wiski, Goedeke, and Wall.
<br />Nays: None.

<br />Goedeke moved, Mastel seconded, that the need for multiple readings of an
<br />ordinance to establish a local lodging tax and adding Chapter 312 to the City
<br />Code of the City of Roseville be waived. Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka, Mastel,
<br />Wiski, Goedeke, and Wall. Nays: None.
