<br />J. ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS
<br />J-l Goedeke moved that an ordinance, extending the prohibition of development JAMES ADDITION
<br />and issuance of permits for any business use and certain multi-family use in
<br />certain designated areas of the City ofRoseville (James Addition) until
<br />September 28, 1998, be adopted. Motion failed for lack of a second.
<br />
<br />The Moratorium will expire on April 28, 1998.
<br />
<br />J-2 Wi ski moved, Maschka seconded, that Ordinance 1201, as prepared by the City ORDINANCE
<br />Attorney, extending the Cable Franchise to July 20, 1998, with the effective 1201
<br />date of the ordinance being upon passage and official publication, be approved.
<br />Roll Call, Ayes: Wiski, Goedeke, Maschka, Mastel, and Wall. Nays: None.

<br />K. REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS (Continued, if necessary)
<br />K-I Wall moved that April 30, 1998 be the date the Roseville Firefighter Relief FIRE RELIEF
<br />Association has to accept the Council's benefit increase as previously proposed. ASSOCIATION
<br />If not accepted by April 30, the Council will look at it anew.
<br />
<br />Maschka moved, Wi ski seconded, that the Roseville Firefighter Relief
<br />Association item be put on the City Council agenda for Monday, April 27,
<br />1998 and the Council's benefit increase as previously proposed be extended to
<br />May 31,1998.
<br />
<br />Wall withdrew his motion.

<br />K-2 Mastel moved, Goedeke seconded, that the City Manager be authorized to
<br />sign a lease agreement with Accel Academy for the leasing of 1,500 square
<br />feet of space at a rate of $9.83 per square foot for a one year period at the
<br />Roseville Activity Center, 2800 Arona. Roll Call, Ayes: Wiski, Goedeke,
<br />Maschka, Mastel, and Wall. Nays: None.

<br />K-3 Mastel moved, Maschka seconded, that City staff be authorized to advertise IRRIGATION
<br />for bids, using the option to specify the product brand and an "or approved PLANNING
<br />equal statement" in advertising for bids, for the installation of planned irrigation SERVICES
<br />systems, saving the design fee costs of approximately $1,200, and that staff be
<br />given the latitude to be flexible to find the best combination of services for
<br />construction and long-term maintenance. Roll Call, Ayes: Wiski, Goedeke,
<br />Maschka, Mastel, and Wall. Nays: None.
