<br />Goedeke moved, Maschka seconded, that the Mayor and City Manager be
<br />authorized to sign a contract with Ellerbe Becket for providing Phase 1 of the
<br />City Center Master Plan and Development Strategy in an amount not to exceed
<br />$55,000 plus reimbursable expenses, to be funded from a combination of a
<br />grant received from Metropolitan Council and Contingent Account. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Mastel, Maschka, Wiski, Goedeke, and Wall. Nays: None.

<br />Wiski moved, Mastel seconded, that staff and the City Attorney be instructed to
<br />prepare an ordinance amendment regarding the Massage Ordinance Chapter
<br />309, increasing the number of massage licenses from six to eight, for future
<br />consideration by the Council. Roll Call, Ayes: Mastel, Maschka, Wiski, and
<br />Goedeke. Nays: None. Abstain: Wall, because he has a client who will be
<br />applying for a massage license.

<br />Maschka moved, Wi ski seconded, that acceptance of bids for the expansion of
<br />the Roseville Skating Center, except for the glass, roofing, flooring, electrical
<br />sections, paint, and stain, be continued to a Special City Council meeting of
<br />Monday, June 15, 1998. Roll Call, Ayes: Mastel, Maschka, Wiski, Goedeke,
<br />and Wall. Nays: None.

<br />Maschka moved, Wiski seconded, that the bids for the glass, roofing, flooring,
<br />electrical sections, paint, and stain be rejected, and authorize rebidding of
<br />these items. Roll Call, Ayes: Mastel, Maschka, Wiski, Goedeke, and Wall.
<br />Nays: None.

<br />Maschka moved, Mastel seconded, that a Special City Council meeting be
<br />established for Monday, June 15, 1998, beginning at 6:30 p.m. for the purpose
<br />of considering the acceptance of bids for the Roseville Skating Center Expansion
<br />project. Roll Call, Ayes: Mastel, Maschka, Wiski, Goedeke, and Wall. Nays:
<br />None.

<br />K-5 Goedeke moved, Maschka seconded, that Ordinance 1204, permitting the use
<br />of nonintoxicating malt liquor in McCarrons Lake Park and establishing the
<br />procedures for such use and amending Section 701.03 of the City Code, be
<br />adopted.
<br />
<br />Wiski amended the motion to include notifying neighbors in the area and
<br />waiving the second and third readings of the ordinance.
