<br />F-4 Mastel moved, Wiski seconded, that a contract with Dahlgren, Shardlow, &
<br />Uban, in an amount not to exceed $110,852, for the design and construction
<br />observation services to complete the Larpenteur A venue Streetscape Project
<br />between Hamline Avenue and Oxford Street be approved. Roll Call, Ayes:

<br />Maschka moved, Mastel seconded, that Resolution 9578, giving preliminary
<br />approval to and stating intent to proceed with the issuance of Multifamily
<br />Housing Revenue Refunding Bonds (Rosepointe I Project), Rosepointe
<br />Housing Limited Partnership, be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Wiski, Mastel,
<br />Maschka, Goedeke, and Wall. Nays: None.

<br />Maschka moved, Goedeke seconded, that the Resolution 9579, approving the
<br />Proposed 1999 Annual Budget for the City of Roseville in the amount of
<br />$32,612,179, be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Wiski, Mastel, Maschka, Goedeke,
<br />and Wall. Nays: None.

<br />Maschka moved, Goedeke seconded, that Resolution 9580, submitting the
<br />proposed property tax levy on real estate to the Ramsey County Auditor for the
<br />Fiscal Year of 1999, be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Wiski, Mastel, Maschka,
<br />Goedeke, and Wall. Nays: None.

<br />Maschka moved, Goedeke seconded, that Resolution 9581, directing the
<br />County Auditor to adjust the proposed tax levy for bonded debt, be adopted.

<br />Maschka moved, Goedeke seconded, that Resolution 9582, approving the dates
<br />for tax hearings for the 1999 Proposed levy for the City of Roseville, be

<br />The Council took a 10 minute break during the discussion ofItem 1-1.
<br />Maschka moved, Mastel seconded, that a variance to reduce the rear yard (east)
<br />setback to 3 feet and the side yard (north setback to 4.5 feet for the purpose of
<br />constructing an addition to an existing building (within established building
<br />lines) at Suburban True Value Hardware, 1930 Lexington Avenue North, be
<br />continued to the regular City Council meeting of Monday, September 14, 1998.
