;; 01.1. 4-66. The construction of all public buildings such as schools, theaters, libraries, churches, etc., shall conform with the provisions of the "City of St. Paul Building Code." 4-67. The construction of all business or industrial buildings having a floor area of more than two thousand (2000) square feet shall conform to the provisions of the "City of St. Paul Building Code.' SECTION 5 GENERAL " ¡ .... :. (-, Vi' '."..C ..../ 5-1. Each inspector appoint'ed by any ~~'Q&ãrã must qualify for the office by having had at least two years' experience of building construc- tion or inspection. 5-2. The term of office for the appointed inspector shall be indefinite and shall terminate at the pleasure of the counoil. 5-3. The owner or builder shall have the right of appeal to the council from any decision made by the inspector. This appeal must be made in writing and directed to the council. 5-4. The council shall exercise the authority to permit temporary habi- tation in accessory buildings or in partially completed homes provided, however, that there is no objection from the owners of adjoining property. 5-5. If the oounoil permits the ocoupation of any accessory building or partially completed building on a temporary basis, the applicant for such permit shall sign an agreement 'with said counci~specifying the time at which such occupation is to cease. 5-6. No dwelling shall be constructed upon a lot which does not have an area of five thousand (5000) or more square feet. 5-7. No dwellings shall hereafter be located on lots whose average width is less than forty (40) feet, except corner lots approved by the council. 5-8. Location of building corners relative to property lines shall con- form to the rules and regulations covering setbacks and side yard as set forth in the Zoning ordinance. 5-9. No building shall hereafter be placed upon a single lot so that there shall be a dwelling house in the rear of another with the same fronte.ge. ~ ,1-- 5-10. In every dwelling house hereafter erected there shall be at least three (3) livable rooms and the overall dimensions shall oontain an area of' not less than four hundred eightY(~-EÎC1uare feet. No livable room, except kitchen, shall be less than ninety (90) square feet. 5-11. Garages shall be so located on the property as to oonform with the side yard specifioations of the Zoning ordinance, in the particular olassifioation for which the property is zoned.
