<br />;; 01.1. <br />4-66. The construction of all public buildings such as schools, theaters, <br />libraries, churches, etc., shall conform with the provisions of the "City <br />of St. Paul Building Code." <br /> <br />4-67. The construction of all business or industrial buildings having <br />a floor area of more than two thousand (2000) square feet shall conform <br />to the provisions of the "City of St. Paul Building Code.' <br /> <br />SECTION 5 <br /> <br />GENERAL <br />" ¡ .... :. Each inspector appoint'ed by any ~~'Q&ãrã must qualify for the <br />office by having had at least two years' experience of building construc- <br />tion or inspection. <br /> <br />5-2. The term of office for the appointed inspector shall be indefinite <br />and shall terminate at the pleasure of the counoil. <br /> <br />5-3. The owner or builder shall have the right of appeal to the council <br />from any decision made by the inspector. This appeal must be made in <br />writing and directed to the council. <br /> <br />5-4. The council shall exercise the authority to permit temporary habi- <br />tation in accessory buildings or in partially completed homes provided, <br />however, that there is no objection from the owners of adjoining property. <br /> <br />5-5. If the oounoil permits the ocoupation of any accessory building <br />or partially completed building on a temporary basis, the applicant for <br />such permit shall sign an agreement 'with said counci~specifying the <br />time at which such occupation is to cease. <br /> <br />5-6. No dwelling shall be constructed upon a lot which does not have <br />an area of five thousand (5000) or more square feet. <br /> <br />5-7. No dwellings shall hereafter be located on lots whose average <br />width is less than forty (40) feet, except corner lots approved by the <br />council. <br /> <br />5-8. Location of building corners relative to property lines shall con- <br />form to the rules and regulations covering setbacks and side yard as set <br />forth in the Zoning ordinance. <br /> <br />5-9. No building shall hereafter be placed upon a single lot so that <br />there shall be a dwelling house in the rear of another with the same <br />fronte.ge. <br /> <br />~ ,1-- <br /> <br />5-10. In every dwelling house hereafter erected there shall be at least <br />three (3) livable rooms and the overall dimensions shall oontain an area <br />of' not less than four hundred eightY(~-EÎC1uare feet. No livable room, <br />except kitchen, shall be less than ninety (90) square feet. <br /> <br />5-11. Garages shall be so located on the property as to oonform with <br />the side yard specifioations of the Zoning ordinance, in the particular <br />olassifioation for which the property is zoned. <br />
