<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1038 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 236 OF THE CITY CODE OF THE <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE ESTABLISHING THE PARKS AND RECREATION <br />COMMISSION IN LIEU OF THE PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD OF THE CITY <br />OF ROSEVILLE. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville does hereby ordain <br /> <br />as follows: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Chapter 236 of the City Code of the City of Roseville is <br /> <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />236. Parks and Recreation Commission <br /> <br />236.010. Establishment and Membership. There is <br />established a Parks and Recreation Commission of the <br />City which shall consist of eight (8) members appointed <br />by the City Council. New members appointed after the <br />original Commission shall be appointed for three (3) <br />years. <br /> <br />236.020. Vacancies. In case of vacancy during <br />the term of office of any member of the Commission, the <br />Council shall appoint a new member to serve the <br />remainder of the term. A vacancy shall exist if any of <br />the following occur: death, disability or failure to <br />serve, as shown by failure to attend a specified number <br />of regular meetings as established by the Commission; <br />residence outside the City; resignation. <br /> <br />236.030. Organization. The Commission shall <br />annually elect one member to serve as chair and one <br />member to serve as vice-chair. Minutes of the <br />Commission shall be filed and retained by the Parks and <br />Recreation Commission as well as other recommendations <br />and studies performed by the Commission. <br /> <br />236.040.
