CITY OF ROSEVILLE ORDINANCE NO. 1039 * * * * * * * * AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A REVISION AND CODIFICATION OF ORDINANCES TO BE KNOWN AS THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF CERTAIN ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR THE PRESERVATION OF CERTAIN RIGHTS; PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION OF THE CITY CODE OF ROSEVILLE: AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION OF THE CITY CODE OF ROSEVILLE. The City Council of the City of Roseville does hereby ordain as follows: I. Chapter 1 of the City Code of the City of Roseville is hereby amended to read as follows: 1. Adoption of the City Code of Roseville 1.010. Adoption of Code. This Ordinance, consisting of Chapters 1 through 280, inclusive, is a codification and revision of the ordinances of the City of Roseville and shall be an is hereby adopted as a single, original and comprehensive ordinance to be known as the City Code of Roseville. 1.020. Preservation of Rights. The repeal of any ordinance or or portion thereof by the preceding section shall not affect or impair any act done or right vested or accrued or any proceeding, suit or effect, but every such act done, or right vested or accrued, or proceeding, suit or prosecution had or commenced shall remain in full force and effect to all intents and purposes as if such ordinance or part thereof so repealed had remained in force. No offense committed and no liability, penalty or forfeiture either civilly or criminally incurred prior to the time when any such ordinance or part thereof shall be repealed or altered by the City of Roseville shall be discharged or affected by such repeal or alteration; but prosecutions and suits for such offenses, liabilities, penalties or forfeitures shall be instituted and proceeded with in all respects as if such prior ordinance or part thereof had not been repealed or altered.
