<br />021- <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />hereby set as a license fee to operate a tavern, and the Village Clerk ~ <br />shall thereupon deliver to such applicant duplicate receipts therefor <br />containing a statement of the purpose for which such deposit was made <br />and one of said receipts shall be attached to and filed with said <br />application. <br /> <br />SECTION 5 <br /> <br />The Council shall direct such investigation of said application <br />as it may deem necessary, and the applicant shall permit the repre- <br />sentatives of any Vil18~e Department to inspect and examine the place <br />of business described in the application together with all the ap- <br />pliances and instruments used or to be used in the transaction of the <br />business for which a license is sought, and upon receipt of such report, <br />the Council shall thereafter consider the application and grant or deny <br />the same. <br /> <br />SECTION 6 <br /> <br />Licenses herein provid.ed for shall run until the following July 1, <br />and if for a period shorter than one year, the license fee shall be <br />prorated on a monthly basis. <br /> <br />SECTION 7 <br /> <br />Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be <br />guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine af not to exceed $100.00 <br />or by imprisonment not to exceed 90 days. <br /> <br />SECTION 8 <br /> <br />This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after <br />its passage. <br /> <br />~~~? <br />- "\ /" i" <br />r . .,.J .~ <br /> <br />President <br /> <br />
