Buildings or use of any property which might be called road- <br />side service such as gasoline filling stations, refreshment <br />stands, trailer camps, cabins, etc.; in these cases the mini- <br />mum side yards shall be twenty (20) feet. <br />Where a business district adjoins a residence district there shall <br />be provided along the boundary line a side yard of at least five (,~) <br />feet. <br />INDUSTRIAL DISTRICTS: <br />HEIGHT AND YARDS: There shall be no limit on height, provided <br />that all buildings shall be set back from any street or highway line <br />not less than one and one-half (1~) feet for each Poot in height, and <br />in any case not less than seventy-five (75) feet from any street or <br />highway boundary line. <br />SECTION 11 <br />DEFINITIONS <br />For the purpose oP this plan, certain words and terms are defined <br />as follows: <br />Words used in the present tense include the future; words in the <br />singular number include the plural, and words in the plural number <br />include the singular; the word "buildingp includes the word "structure"; <br />and the word "shall" is mandatory and not directory. <br />ACCESSORY USE: <br />A use customarily incidental and accessory to the principal <br />use of a lot or of a building located upon the same lot. <br />ADVERTISING: <br />Any writing, printing, painting, display, emblem, drawing, <br />sign, or other device designated, used or intended for ad- <br />vertising, or any type of publicity or propaganda, whether <br />placed on the, ground, rocks, trees, tree stumps, or other <br />natural objects, or on a building, signboard, billboard, <br />wall, roof, frame, support, fence, or other man-made structure. <br />BOARDIT~TG, ROOMING, OR LODGING HOUSE <br />A building other than a hotel where lodging or meals for Five <br />(5) or more persons is or are provided for compensation. <br />BUILDING: <br />A structure having a roof supported by columns or walls. <br />DWELLING, ONE-FAMILY; TWO-FAMILY: <br />A detached building designated for or occupied by not more <br />than one or two families respectively. <br />FAMILY: <br />Any number of individuals lining together as a single house- <br />keeping unit. <br />
