<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />1061 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 20.155 AND 17.170 OF THE <br />CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE REGARDING PARK LAND DEDICATION. <br /> <br />The city council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, <br />does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />The city Code of the City of Roseville <br /> <br />section 20.155 is amended as follows: <br /> <br />Section 20.155. Park Dedication. <br />(1) As a condition to the approval of any subdivision <br />of land in any zone, including the granting of a <br />variance pursuant to section 20.140 when a new <br />building site is created in excess of one acre, and <br />including approval of planned unit developments, <br />there shall be a portion dedicated to the public <br />for use as a park as provided by Minn. Stat. <br />462.358 Subd (2) (b), or in lieu thereof, a cash <br />deposit given to the City to be used for park <br />purposes all as hereafter set forth. <br /> <br />(2) The portion to be dedicated in all residentially <br />zoned areas shall be 10 percent, and 5 percent in <br />all other areas. <br /> <br />(3) Land dedicated for required street right-of-way or <br />utilities, including drainage, does not qualify as <br />park dedication. <br /> <br />(4) Where park dedication is deemed inappropriate by <br />the City, the owner and the City shall agree to <br />have the owner deposit a sum of money in lieu of a <br />dedication. The sum shall be determined as near as <br />practicable as follows: <br />
