83 CRDDiANCE NO. 141 AN ORDINANCE LICENSTIJG AND REGULATING THE ESTABLISmAEN'.:', MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION OF PLACES OF A~mSm.ffiNT AND PROVIDllm PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF. The Village Council of Roseville ordains: SECTION I No person, firm or corporation shall establish, maintain or operate a place of amusement as herein defined within the Village of Roseville without first having obtained a license to do so as hereinafter provided. SECTION II For the purpose of this ordinance, a place of amusement shall mean any area, building, or place where a fee is charged for furnishing entertainment 01" furnishing facilities for entertainment except where a specific amusement is heretofore or hereafter otherwise licensed b~T ordinance. SECTION III Any person desiring a license to establish, maintain or operate a place of amusement shall make application in writing to the Village Council by filing said application with the Village Clerk. The following information is to be set forth in the application: a. Name of applicant. b. The location and legal description of the proposed place of amusement. c. A statement as to whether the applicant owns said property, and if leased, a copy of said lease. d. The location of the drivew~'s for ingress a~d egress from said amusement site. SECTION IV The applicant shall deposit with the Village Clerk at the time of the filing of his application, the sum of $25.00 which sum is hereby set as the license fee to operate a place of amusement, and the Village Clerk shall there- upon deliver to such applicant duplicate receipt therefor containing a statement of the .purpose for which such deposit was made and one of said receipts shall be attached to andfiled with said application. SECTION V Suitable lights shall be placed upon said property to effectively light all entrances and exits and shall be placed so as not to shine upon or interfere with surrounding property. ..
