<br />86 <br /> <br />SECTION 5 <br /> <br />Permits. No alterations or additions in the existing wiring of any building <br />shall be made nor shall any building be ,.,ired for the placing of any electric <br />lights, motors, heating devices, or any apparatus requiring the use of electrical <br />current. nor shall any alterations be mad.e in the ,.,iring of any building after <br />inspection without first securing a permit therefor. except minor repair work <br />such as repairing flush and snap switches. replacing fuses, changing lamp sockets <br />and receptacles, taping bare joints and repairing drop cords. Applications for <br />permits shall be filed with the Village Clerk and shall be accompanied by a <br />fee as follows: <br /> <br />$2.00 <br /> <br />$1 .00 <br /> <br />$1.00 <br /> <br />$3.0~ <br />$3.00 <br /> <br />\ <br />$5.00 <br /> <br />$7.50 <br />$10.00 <br /> <br />$2.00 minimum (This includes change of service and one circuit-- <br />or two additional circuits on an existing service. <br /> <br />$1.00 additional for each addlt ional circuit. if inspection is <br />made at t he same time as above. <br /> <br />The type of additional circui t installation requiring inspection <br />is that which requires a special circuit by reason of load or <br />hazard involved. <br /> <br />For the alteration, rearrangement or repair of existing electri- <br />cal equipnent or for other electrical work not included in the <br />above--$l.OO for each one hundred dollars ($100.00) or fraction <br />thereof. of the estima.ted cost of the installation. <br /> <br />(a) Certificate of Inspection is required on all installations of <br />five (5) or more current consuming outlets. <br /> <br />$3.00 for installations requiring a. 30 ampere service. <br /> <br />$3.00 for any additional outbuilding added to an existing install- <br />ation with entrance service up to 60 amperes, which would include <br />such a building as a new barn on a farmstead already receiving <br />electric service. $1.00 shall be added for each additional <br />building, if inspection is made at same time as above. <br /> <br />On special occupancies, such as resorts and group housing under <br />one ownership. no one such inspection for additional wiring on <br />existing installations shall exceed $15.00. <br /> <br />$5.00 for installations requiring 60 ampere service. <br /> <br />$7.50 for installations requiring 100 ampere service. <br /> <br />$10.00 minimun for 200 ampere service, up to $500.00 worth of <br />electrical work. $1.00 additional for each $250.00. or fraction <br />thereof. worth of work in excess of $500.00. <br /> <br />For the purpose of calculating inspection fees on this class of work, the <br />value of lighting fixtures and fixed appliances shall not be included. <br />
