<br />102, <br /> <br />SECTION 10 <br />Setbacks and Yards <br /> <br />Farm Residence Districts: <br />For every building hereafter erected or stnlcturally altered there shall <br />be provided a front yard of not less than thirty (30) feet. <br /> <br />Residence Districts "A", "B", and "e": <br />For every building hereafter erected, or structurally altered, there <br />shall be provided a front yard of not less than thirty (30) feet, in depth, <br />and a side yard on each side of the building of not less than five (5) feet <br />in width, provided that where a building is to be built so as to,!'ront upon <br />a street other than the street upon which the lot fronts, the village council <br />may grant permission for such constructioIi contrary to the provisions of this <br />paragraph. If at the time this ordinance becomes effective, existini houses on <br />fifty percent (50%) or more of the frontage of miY block have a predominant <br />front yard different from that herein specified, all buildings hereafter <br />erected shall conform to this predominant front yard depth, provided this <br />regulation shall not be interpreted so as to require a front yard of more than <br />forty (40) feet in depth. <br /> <br />Business District: <br />No building shall be placed closer than thirty (30) feet from any highway <br />property line, provided, however, that in the case of gasoline filling stations <br />the gasoline pumps may be placed at a distance of not less than twenty (20) <br />feet from such property line. <br /> <br />Side yards shall not be required for any building except as follows: <br /> <br />1. Dwellings, in which case this requirement shall be the same <br />as that in any residential district. <br />2. Buildings or use of any property which might be called road- <br />side service such as gasoline filling stations, refreshment <br />stands, trailer camps, cabins, etc.; in these cases the minimum <br />side yards shall be twenty (20) feet. <br /> <br />Where a business district adjoins a residence district there slJ1.l be pro- <br />vided along the boundary line a side yard of at least five (5) f~et. <br /> <br />Industrial TIistric:ts: <br />Height and Yards: There shall be no 1imit on height, provided that a.1l <br />buildings shall be set back from any street or highway line not less than one <br />and one-half (l~) feet for each foot in height, and in any case not less than <br />seventy-five (75) feet from any street or highway boundary line. <br /> <br />Setback from Section, Quarter Section mid Quarter Quarter Section Lines: <br />In unplatted areas no building shall be placed closer to any section, <br />quarter section or quarter quarter section line thml the setback and yard <br />provisions herein prescribed plus thirty feet. <br />
