<br />1Qo <br /> <br />SPECIFICATIONS For STFiJ<~T GRADING <br /> <br />Section 13 <br /> <br />SUPERVISION <br />The grading of all streets in the Village, regardless of whether such work <br />is being paid for by the Village or a developer, shall be done in accord- <br />ance vJi th the plans and specifications approved bJ the Vi] lat;EJ Council. <br />P.ll of the Hork shall follol.f and conform vnth the instruct.ions and direc- <br />tions of said Village Councilor its representative and said representative <br />shal] have the sole authority under the direction of the Village Council <br />to interpret any planned sp<ccifications in thG test intl l"j.ts of the <br />Village. <br /> <br />SECTION 14 <br /> <br />OFFICIAL CRADES <br />Every str(;ct grade established by the registered enginel~r and accepted and <br />appr:)Vuu by the Village Council, shall become the official grade for that <br />particlll::tr stroet. This plan and grade Hill be filed in the off; r:e of' the <br />Vi11 age Clerk and also in the office of the buildinG inspectol'. It uill be <br />used in dotermining gra.de lines for homes and other buildings adjacent to <br />said street. 311d also vrill he relatod to drainage structures or future SOHers. <br /> <br />SECTION 15 <br /> <br />QRADE REVISIONS <br />.After an official grade has been in existence and on record for a period of <br />one year or until such time within that year as homes or buildings constructed <br />on adjacent property miGht be affected by a revision If that grade, it shall <br />not be revised oxcept after a public hearing Hhich shall be advertised and <br />held in the manner in l'Jhich public hearings on all rezoning netitions are <br />held. Each owner of a building on said st.reet shall be notified of said <br />hearing. <br /> <br />SECTION 16 <br /> <br />lJNH'CiRJETY (1" DESIGN <br />For tho purpose of puhlic convenience and uniformity of desiVl, every effort <br />will be made to plan future streets 80 as to permit the construction of a <br />village section: as shown on page 7 of the se reGulations. The Coune Ll, hm-TOver, <br />reserves the right in all cases to deviate from this standard in order to <br />assure propAr drainaGe or to solve any other problems \\Thich might be en- <br />countered in any specific location and this deviation from the standard cross <br />section design may bo included on the oriGinal rlan or revised during the <br />construction operation. <br /> <br />SECTION 17 <br /> <br />CLEARING AND GRUBBING <br />All trees Hithin the riGht of way, which are affected by tho construction <br />of the proposed road, will l..,:~ removed and grubbed out. After these trees <br />have boen removed from the ground, they will become the property of the ad- <br />jacent o-..mcr, if he desires to have them, mn vJhich caso, they will be <br />trimmed and brush must be burned. The limbs and trunk of the tree shall then <br />be sawed into lengths vlhich can be hand-led hy tlvO men and this wooel wi.ll be <br />piled neatly on the property of the owner and immediately ndjacent to the <br />street right of way line. In the event that the mmer dces not want the <br />tree, it Sllall be removed from the project completely.
