<br />217 <br /> <br />sent by registered mail to the last business address kn~{n to the party <br />given the notice. <br /> <br />2-88 YARD means a court that extends along the entire length of a lot line. <br /> <br />. <br />2-89 ZONING means the reservation of certain specified areas within the <br />municipality for buildings and structures for certain purposes with <br />other limi tation& such as height, lot coverage and other stipulated <br />requirements. <br /> <br />SECTION THREE <br />PERMiTS REQUIRED <br /> <br />3-1 Before proceeding with the construction, enlargement, alteration, re- <br />pair, demolition or moving of any building or structure, the mIDer or <br />his agent shall first obtain a permit for such prupose from the muni- <br />cipality through its building inspector. <br /> <br />3.;;.Q2 Applications for perrni ts shall be made in writing upon printed blanks <br />or forms furnished by the municipality. <br /> <br />3-3 Application for permit shall be accompanied by two copies of the plans <br />and specifications clearly illustrating 'and specifying the work to be <br />done, ahd such plans shall be so complete as to fully illustrate the <br />char actor of the proposed work. <br /> <br />3-4 Each application for a building permit shall show the correct legal <br />description of the property. Where the property is not platted, the <br />application shall be accompanied by a certificate of surVey signed by <br />a registered surveyor. <br /> <br />3-5 Application for permit shall be accompanied by three copies of a plot plan <br />showing the correct location of the proposed building with respect to the <br />lot lines and also the correct location of all other buildings existing <br />or proposed to be constructed on the lot. This plan shall also show <br />the proposed location of water supply, sanitary facilities and proposed <br />disposal of surfacr water. <br /> <br />3-6 The inspector shall examine all plans and specifications before per- <br />l:1its are issued. <br /> <br />3-7 In an examination of the application, plans and specifications indicate" <br />that the provisions of this code and the zoning plan are complied with, <br />the inspector shall issue a permit therefor. <br /> <br />3-8 One set of plans and specifications shall be returned to the applicant <br />and sh11 be !tept at the place where the work is being done. <br /> <br />3-9 One set of plans and specificat:i.ons shall remain with the inspector. <br /> <br />3-10 One copy of the plot plan shall be retut'ned to the applicant and shall <br />be kept at the place where the work is being done. <br /> <br />-14- <br />
