Wherever specially manufactured material <br />is used. it shall be in accordance wi. th the directi.. ons furnished by the <br />manufacturell. <br /> <br />7-24 Any material or method of construction failing to conform to the require- <br />men8s of this code or rules adopted thereunder shall not be used. <br /> <br />SECTION EIGHT <br />LICENSES, BONDS AND PENALTIES <br /> <br />84U Before any person, firm or corporation shall engage in the business of <br />doing or performing any of the various tppes of work listed in this section, <br />they shall first obtain a license to do so as hereinafter provided: <br /> <br />No. 1 ~ Cement work, cemnt block work, cement block layihg or brick work. <br /> <br />No. 2 - General construction including erection, alteration or repair of <br />buildings. <br /> <br />No. 3 - The moving or wrecking of buildings. <br /> <br />No. 4 - Plastering, outside stucco 'Work or lathing. <br /> <br />No.5 - Electric wiring. <br />No. 6 - Plumbing including installation of outside sewage disposal plants. <br /> <br />No. 7 - Heating <br /> <br />No.8 - Gas installation including heating, appliances, devices or machinery, etc. <br /> <br />No. 9 - Well Drilling <br />No.lO - Roofing <br /> <br />No.11 - Sign and bill board erecting. <br /> <br />No.12 - Excavators (for basements, foundations grading of lots, etc.) <br /> <br />8-2 All licenses shall be obtained from the Clerk of the municipality. <br />Application for licenses shall be filed with the clerk on forms furnished <br />by the municipality. The fee for each license shall be twelve ($12.00) annually. <br /> <br />8-3 All licenses shall expire on July 1 following the date of issuance unless <br />sooner revoked or forfeited. If a license granted hereunder is now re- <br />newed previous to its expiration then all rights granted by such license <br />shall cease and any work performed after the expiration of the license shall <br />be in violation of this code. <br /> <br />8-4 Persons, firms, or corporations renewing their licenses after the expiration <br />-56- <br />
