<br />Highway, all additional specifioations of the appropriate Highway <br />Departments will apply. <br /> <br />SECT ION VI. <br />ADMINISTRATIO!\I <br /> <br />6.1 The Village Engineer is hereby designated as the enforoing <br />offioer for, this ordinanoe and shall have the powers to issue, deny <br />or revoke any permit. The Village Engineer may institute in the <br />name of the Village of Roseville any appropriate actions or pro- <br />cedure against a violator as provided by law. Any person, firm or <br />corporate who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to <br />comply with, or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions <br />of this ordinanoe shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be <br />punishable by fine not exceeding one hundred ($lOO.OO) dollars or <br />ninety (90) days in jail for each offense. Each day that a violation <br />continues shall constitute a separate offense. It shall be no defense <br />that the defendant in any such proceeding has a ~ight to appeal from <br />any order or decision of the Village Engineer if such person has not <br />instituted appeal proceedings to the Village Council within twenty <br />(20) days from the date of the violation or order as the oase might <br />be. <br /> <br />6.2 APPEALS AND HEARINGS. Appeals from the decision of the <br />Village Engineer, inr~latio~ to the granting or revoking of a permit <br />shall be referred to the Village Council. Such appeal shall be taken <br />within twenty (20) days from and after the date of such decision by <br />the Village Engineer. Upon a motion from the Village Council the <br />appeal may be referred to the Planning Commission. If directed by <br />the Council, the Planning Commission may hold a public hearing on <br />the appeal to be held within thirty (30) days of the filing of said <br />appeal. The recommendation of the Planning Commission shall be for- <br />warded tO,the Council for final action.
