<br />ORDINANCE NO ~:J! ! <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE HAULING OF SEWAGE, <br />AND DUMPING OF THE SAME INTO THE SANITARY SEWER <br />SYSTEM, REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 226 <br /> <br />The Village Council of Roseville ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION I. <br /> <br />No person, firm or corporation shall haul or transport in <br />tank trucks any contents of septic tanks or cesspools and dump the <br />same in the Sanitary Sewer System within Roseville without a license <br />from the Village of Roseville. Application for such license shall <br />be made on the form prescribed by the Village of Roseville, accompanied <br />by a fee of $50.00 as payment for a license for the operation of one <br />tank truck, plus the fee that shall be established by the Clerk of <br />not exceeding $5.00 for each additional truck that may be used by <br />the applicant, which additional fee shall cover the cost of issuing <br />official tags, decals, certificates or other identification to be <br />provided for the use of each such additional truck. Such license <br />shall entitle the licensee to haul and dump sanitary sewage from <br />cesspools and septic tanks located within the Village of Roseville <br />only, and it shall be unlawful for any tank truck to enter from <br />outside the corporate limits of the Village of Roseville carrying <br />any such sewage, whether the same may have been collected in the <br />Village of Roseville or not. <br /> <br />SECTION II. <br /> <br />Provided, however, that such licensee shall keep an accurate <br />record of the name and address of the owner of each septic tank or <br />cesspool which is pumped or emptied into such hauling truck and <br />hauled and dumped into the Sanitary Sewer System, and provided further, <br />however, that on the 1st of each and every month, such person, firm <br />or corporation who is holder of such a license, shall file a written <br />report with the Village of Roseville, giving the name and address of <br />each and every septic tank or cesspool from which such licensee <br />pumped and hauled sanitary sewage and dumped same into the Sanita~ <br />Sewer System of Roseville. <br /> <br />SECTION III. <br /> <br />Every such licensee shall have the official tag, decal or <br />other identification provided by the Village Clerk, prominently <br />displayed at all times on any truck used for the hauling of sewage; <br />
