<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINM~CE NO. ~- <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE CODE OF THE <br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE BY ADDING THERETO CHAPTER 260. <br /> <br />The Village Council of the Village of Roseville <br /> <br />ordains: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />The Village Code of the Village of Roseville is <br />hereby amended by adding Chapter 260, which shall read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />260. Personnel Classification Plan <br /> <br />260.010. Purpose. The position classification <br />plan is hereby established as a system of identifying and <br />describing the different kinds of work carried on in the <br />Village employ, in recruiting employees to fill positions, <br />and in establishing equitable compensation for the various <br />Village positions. <br /> <br />260.020. Definitions. The mean~ngs of the <br />following words shall be as defined: <br />(1) Position Classification. The term "position <br />classification" shall mean the system used for identifying <br />and describing the different kinds of work in the Village <br />administrative organization and the grouplng of similar <br />positions together under common job titles. <br />
