<br />installed at a point on the property line most suitable to the property <br /> <br />and shall be left in an accurate vertical position when backfilling is <br /> <br />completed. Curb stop boxes will be installed at an approximate depth <br /> <br />of 7 feet below the grade established by the Village Engineer. Type K <br /> <br />copper tubing shall be used for installation of water services. <br /> <br />66.241. All piping connections from curb box to house supply <br /> <br />piping shall be made by a plumber. <br /> <br />66.242. Water Service Excavators. <br /> <br />(1) All water service excavation work shall be performed by <br /> <br />water service excavators licensed by the Village of <br /> <br />Roseville. <br /> <br />(2 ) <br /> <br />"Water Service Excavator" Defined. <br /> <br />"Water Service <br /> <br />Excavator" shall be understood to indicate any person <br /> <br />engaged in the business of excavating the backfilling of <br /> <br />that portion of the water service line extending from the <br /> <br />curb box to the building. <br /> <br />(3) Eliqibility. Any person who has had at least three (3) <br /> <br />years experience in responsible charge of excavation and <br /> <br />backfill work involving a knowledge of trenching, bracing, <br /> <br />and tunnel work in public streets or on private property <br /> <br />and all other matters pertaining to and incidental to such <br /> <br />water excavation work is eligible to receive a license, <br /> <br />after having passed an examination by the Board of <br /> <br />Examiners. <br /> <br />(4) Board of Examiners. All matters pertaining to Water <br /> <br />Service Excavators shall be vested in the Board of <br /> <br />-10- <br />
