<br />charges for the preceding quarterly period shall be mailed by the <br /> <br />Finance Department to each customer on or before the 5th day of <br /> <br />January, April, July, and October of each year. Such statements shall <br /> <br />be due on or before the 15th day of the month following the quarterly <br /> <br />period covered by such statement. There shall be added to all <br /> <br />statements not paid when due, a penalty charge of fifty cents for each <br /> <br />month or fraction thereof that the statement remains unpaid. Any <br /> <br />prepayment or overpayment of charges will be applied on subsequent <br /> <br />quarterly payments. <br /> <br />66.330. Action to Collect Charqes. Any amounts due for <br /> <br />water charges hereunder may be collected in a civil action, or the <br /> <br />Village Clerk may certify to the County Auditor the amounts due, <br /> <br />together with a legal description of the premises served, and the <br /> <br />County Auditor shall thereupon enter such amount as part of the tax <br /> <br />levy on said premises to be collected during the ensuing year. <br /> <br />Water Meters and Hydrants <br /> <br />66.400. Water Meters. Except for extinguishment of fires, <br /> <br />no person, except authorized Village employees, shall use water from <br /> <br />the water system or permit water to be drawn therefrom, unless the same <br /> <br />be metered by passing through a meter supplied or approved by the <br /> <br />Village. No person not authorized by the utilities SuperiRtendent shall <br /> <br /> <br />connect, disconnect, take apart, or in any manner change, or cause <br /> <br />to be changed, or interfere with any such meter or the action thereof. <br /> <br />-16- <br />
