<br />charged shall be fixed by the Village Engineer, <br /> <br />based upon the estimated cost of installing <br /> <br />the service. <br /> <br />(3) For turning on water where service has been turned off for <br /> <br />violation of any provision of th~ chapter, a service <br /> <br />charge of $5 will be made. <br /> <br />66.220. Time for Connections. <br /> <br />If, from any cause, the plumber <br /> <br />or contractor laying the service pipe should fail to have the connection <br /> <br />made at the time specified in his application, notice must be given the <br /> <br />Building Department fixing another day on which he wishes to make <br /> <br />connection. The notice must be given at least two days previous to the <br /> <br />excavation for laying of the service pipe, and the connection must be <br /> <br />made before 4:30 p.m., except in special cases, and then the work shall <br /> <br />be done only upon a written order from the Building Department. <br /> <br />66.230. Property Assessments. The permit fee for water main <br /> <br />tapping shall be paid for each connection ~n the amount specified in <br /> <br />Section 66.210. <br /> <br />In addition thereto, before any permit shall be <br /> <br />issued, the following conditions shall be complied with: <br /> <br />(1) No permit shall be issued to tap or connect with any <br /> <br />water main of the Village directly or indirectly from <br /> <br />any lot or tract of land unless the Finance Department <br /> <br />shall have certified: <br /> <br />(a) That such lot or tract of land has been <br /> <br />assessed for the cost of construction of the <br /> <br />water main with which the connection is made, or <br /> <br />~b) If no assessment bas been levied for sucn <br /> <br />-8- <br />
