VILLAGE or ROSEVILLE ORDINANCE NO. 397 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TIlE VILLAGE CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE BY AHENDING SECTIONS 12.020 AND 12.040 AND BY ADDING SECTION 12.025 SETTING FORTI! CERTAIN PROCEDURAL REGULATIONS FOR VARIANCES AND FOR SPECIAL USE PEmHTS UNDEr. THE ZO~JING CODE. The Villare Council of the Villap"e of Roseville ordains: I. The Village Code o~ the Village of Roseville is hereby amended by amending Section 12.020 so as to read as follows: 12.020. Snecial l'se Permits. Permits for "special use" may be granted by the Village touncil within each land use classification to the extent that such land use classification provides for the special use proposed. The Villa,p'e Council may Rrant a special use permit in the district indicated under the conditions stipulated hereinafter and may impose such additional conditions as it considers necessary to protect the public health, safety or welfare. II. The Village Code of the Village of Roseville is hereby amended by adding thereto Section 12.025 which shall read as ~ollows: 12.025. Procedure for Special Use Permit. Any owner of land may file an annlicatlon for a speCIal use permit by paying the amount set forth in Section 15.030, and by providing the Village with an abstractor's certified property certificate, showin~ the property owners wi thin 250 feet of the outer boundary of the parce 1 of land on which the special use permit is requested. The application shall then be heard by the Planning Commission and then by the Village Counci 1 upon the same published notice, mailing notice and hearinr- procedure as set forth in Sections 16.020 and 16.030, except that the notice shall con- tain the description of the land and the kind of special permit involved. III. The Village Code of the Vi llage of Roseville is hereby amended by amending Section 12.040 so as to read as ~ollows:
