<br />110.230. PLUMBING. Plumbing shall be so sized, installed <br />and maintained so as to carry adequate quantities of water to <br />required locations throughout the establislunent; to prevent <br />contamination of the water supply; to properly convey sewage and <br />liquid wastes from the establishment to the sewerage system; and <br />so that it does not constitute a source of contamination of food, <br />equipment, or multi-use utensils, or create an insanitary condition <br />or nuisance. <br /> <br />110.240. IvATER SUPPLY. Water under pressure shall be <br />easily accessible to all rooms in which food is prepared or utensils <br />are \vashed and the water supply shall be adequate and of a safe <br />sanitary quality. <br /> <br />110.250. FOOD PROTECTION. (A) All food while being <br />stored, prepared, displayed, served or sold, or being transported <br />shall be protected against contamination by dust, flies, rodents <br />and other vermin; unclean utensils and surfaces; unnecessary <br />handling; flooding; drainage and overhead leakage or any other <br />cont~~ination. All perishable food shall be kept at temperatures <br />that will protect against spoilage. The temperature of readily <br />perishable food, during storage and transportation, shall be 40oF. <br />or lower, or lSOoP. or higher, except that this provision shall not <br />apply to trucks used in the delivery of foodstuffs for retail <br />grocers and retail meat dealers to homes of their customers. <br />Such foods, being displayed for service, shall <br /> <br />-15- <br />
