<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 661 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 66.340 AND SECTION <br />71. 070 OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE BY <br />PROVIDING THAT UNPAID CHARGES FOR SEWER AND WATER SHALL BE <br />CERTIFIED TO THE COUNTY AUDITOR FOR COLLECTION WITH REAL <br />ESTATE TAXES. <br /> <br />The Village Council of the Village of Roseville does hereby <br /> <br />ordain: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Section 66.340 of the Village Code of the Village df Roseville <br /> <br />is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />66.340. Action to Collect Charge s. Any amount <br />due f6r water charges in excess of Ninety (90) days past <br />due on October 1 of any year shall be certified to the <br />County Auditor for collection with real estate taxes in <br />the follOWing year. This certification shall take place <br />regardless of who applied for water services, whether it <br />was the owner, tenant or other person. All applications <br />for water service shall contain an explanation in clear <br />language that unpaid water bills will be collected in <br />real estate taxe s in the following year. The Village <br />shall also have the right to bring a civil action or other <br />remedies to collect unpaid charges. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />The Village Code of the Village of Roseville is further amended <br /> <br />by amending Section 71.070 to read as follows: <br /> <br />71. 070. Action to Collect Charge s. Any amount <br />due for sewer charges, including City of St. Paul sewer <br />charges, in excess of Ninety (90) days past due on <br />
