<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. ~ <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 31. 070, ADDING <br />SECTION 31. 075, AND AMENDING SECTION 32.090 OF THE VILLAGE <br />CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE BY PROVIDING FOR ELECTRICAL <br />PERMITS AND LICENSING REQUIREMENTS AND ADOPTING THE 1971 <br />EDITION OF THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE. <br /> <br />The Village Council of the Village of Roseville does hereby <br /> <br />ordain: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Section 31. 070 of the Village Code of the Village of Roseville <br /> <br />is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />31.070 Electrical Permits. <br /> <br />r <br />(1) No installation or connection of any electric light <br />fixture s, motors, heating device s or any apparatus <br />requiring the use of electric current, nor any <br />alterations or addition in the wiring of any existing <br />building shall be made, nor shall any building be <br />wired for the placing of any electric lights, motors, <br />heating devices or any apparatus requiring the use <br />of an electric current, nor shall any installation or <br />connection of any electric fixture s, motors, heating <br />devices or any alterations in the wiring to be made <br />of any building after inspection, without first securing <br />a permit therefor. <br /> <br />(2) Electrical permits shall not be issued unless the <br />applicant is properly licensed by the Minnesota <br />State Board of Electricity for the work to be per- <br />formed, or unless the wiring is to be installed in <br />a single family d welling by the owner, if the owner <br />resides or plans to reside in such dwelling. <br />
