<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 07/ <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE CODE OF THE VILLAGE <br />OF ROSEVILLE BY ADDING SECTION 5.175 PROVIDING FOR DEFINITION OF <br />DAY CARE CENTERS; AMENDING SECTION 5.550 PROVIDING FOR DEFINITION <br />OF NURSERY SCHOOLS; AND, AMENDING SECTIONS 7.260 and 7.280 BY <br />DELETING CERTAIN PERMITTED USES OF R-l DISTRICTS AND REQUIRING <br />SPECIAL PERMITS FOR THOSE USES. <br /> <br />The Village Council of the Village of Roseville does hereby <br /> <br />ordain: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />The Village Code of the Village of Roseville is hereby amended <br /> <br />by adding thereto Section 5 .l7 5 to read as follows: <br /> <br />5 .l7 S. Day Care Centers. The term "day care <br />centers" shall mean any public or private facility which <br />provides a social service for five (5) or more children of <br />pre-school age for the purpose of supplementing parental <br />care by providing for the care and protection of children <br />away from their homes for periods of eight to ten hours per <br />day, five days per week. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />Section 5.550 of the Village Code of the Village of Roseville <br /> <br />is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />5.550. Nursery Schools. The term "nursery schools" <br />shall mean a public or private facility, the principal function <br />of which is to provide an educational experience outside of <br />the family home for five (5) or more children of pre-school <br />age for periods of not more than four (4) hours per day and <br />not more than three (3) days per week. <br />
