<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 7 {)9-- <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE CODE OF <br />THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE BY ADDING SECTION 239.020 <br />TO PROVIDE A PRIMARY ELECTION SYSTEM FOR THE VILLAGE <br />OF ROSEVILLE. <br /> <br />The village Council of the Village of Roseville <br /> <br />does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />The village Code of the village of Roseville <br /> <br />is hereby amended by adding Section 239.020 to read <br /> <br />as follows: <br /> <br />239.020. Primary Election System. <br /> <br />Whenever proper Affidavits of Candidacy <br />or applications for candidacy have been <br />filed for a number of candidates for <br />municipal office to be voted upon in a <br />regular municipal election equal to a <br />number in excess of two for the office <br />of mayor or in excess of two for each <br />office of councilman, then a municipal <br />primary election shall be held for such <br />office, or offices, pursuant to the <br />following: <br /> <br />(1) Said primary election shall be held <br />at.the time prescribed by law for <br />the hoLding of municipal primary <br />elections; <br />
