(2) Each shopping center development consisting of a group of stores operating under a common name in shopping center district may have a maximum of 3 pylon type signs not over 35 feet in height. No part of the sign shall be closer than 30 feet from a street right-of-way nor 60 feet from a side lot line. The maximum sign area on anyone side shall be 200 square feet. (3) A single sign not exceeding 600 square feet in area may be authorized by the Council by special permit in an "S_C" District for a period not to exceed 20 months to be used only for purposes of advertising the future construc- tion of a shopping center. 14.500. Sign Regulations in "I" Districts. within the "I-I" and "1-2" Districts, name plate signs and busi- ness signs, illuminated signs, are permitted as listed in Section 14.600. 14.600. Type and Gross Surface of Signs in all "B, S-C, and I" Districts.
