<br />The Council may extend the Planning <br />Commission's time to make a written <br />report upon such request from the <br />Planning Commission made in writing <br />to the Council within said 60 days. <br /> <br />III. <br /> <br />Section 16.030 of the City Code of the City of <br /> <br />Roseville is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />16.030 Hearing Before City Council. <br /> <br />The Council shall hold a public hearing <br />within 30 days after the receipt of the <br />report and recommendation from the Plan- <br />ning Commission. If the Planning Com- <br />mission fails to make a report to the <br />Council within the time provided for <br />in Section 16.020, then the Council <br />shall hold a public hearing within 30 <br />days after the expiration of said period. <br />Failure to receive a report from the <br />Planning commission as herein provided <br />shall not invalidate the proceedings <br />or actions of the Council. The Council <br />shall give not less than 10 days nor <br />more than 30 days' notice of time and <br />place of such hearing published in the <br />designated legal newspaper, and such <br />notice shall contain a description of <br />the land and the proposed change in <br />zoning. At least 10 days before the <br />hearing the Council shall mail an <br />identical notice to the owner and to each <br />of the property owners within 350 feet <br />of the outside boundaries of the land <br />proposed to be rezoned. Failure of the <br />Council to mail the notice or failure <br />of the property owners to receive the <br />notice shall not invalidate the pro- <br />ceedings.
