<br />presents to the Roseville Police the certificate of an <br />authorized veterinarian that the dog or animal was vaccinated <br />for rabies on a date less than one year prior to the date of <br />such notice. <br /> <br />145.125. Summary Destruction of Certain Dogs. Whenever <br />an officer has reasonable cause to believe that a particular <br />dog presents a clear and immediate danger to residents of <br />the City because it is infected with rabies or because of <br />a clearly demonstrated vicious nature, the officer after <br />making reasonable attempts to impound such dog, may summarily <br />destroy said dog. <br /> <br />145.130. Kennels. No person shall maintain a kennel <br />as defined in Section 5.180 without first securing a license <br />therefore pursuant to Chapter 100. This fee shall be in <br />addition to the license fee prescribed in preceding sections <br />for each dog kept in such kennel, but shall not apply to <br />veterinary hospitals licensed under Chapter 127. <br /> <br />145.140. Cleanup. The owner of any dog or other animal <br />shall clean up all feces of the animal and dispose of such feces <br />in a sanitary manner. <br /> <br />145.150. OWner obliqation for Proper Care. No owner <br />shall fail to provide any animal with sufficient good and <br />wholesome food and water, proper shelter and protection from <br />the weather, veterinary care when needed to prevent suffering, <br />and with humane care and treatment. No person shall beat, <br />treat cruelly, torment or otherwise abuse any animal, or <br />cause or permit any dog fight.
