<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />AN ORDINANCE NO. 771 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 232.010, 232.020, <br />232.080, 232.090 AND 232.100 OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY <br />OF ROSEVILLE BY PROVIDING FOR THE ADDITIONAL OFFICERS OF <br />THE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT AND FOR INCREASING THE SIZE <br />OF THE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville, <br /> <br />Minnesota, does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Sections 232.010 and 232.020 of the City Code <br /> <br />of the City of Roseville are hereby amended to read as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />232.010. Volunteer Fire Department <br />Established. There is established a Volunteer <br />Fire Department consisting of a Chief, one <br />Deputy Chief, three District Chiefs, two <br />Assistant Fire Marshals and not less than 15 <br />nor more than 75 firefighters. The Chief, <br />with the approval of the Council, shall <br />determine the number of members of said <br />department within the limits herein set <br />forth. <br /> <br />232.020. Election of Certain Officials. <br />The Chief of the Department, the Deputy Chief, <br />and one District Chief for each station shall <br />be elected annually by the members of the <br />department subject to confirmation by the <br />Council. Each elected official shall hold his <br />office for one year and until his successor <br />has been duly elected, except that he may be <br />removed by the Council for cause, and after a <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />Sections 232.080, 232.090 and 232.100 of the City <br />
