<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />AN ORDINANCE NO. 816 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />ROSEVILLE BY AMENDING CHAPTER 106 REQUIRING LICENSES FOR THE <br />CONDUCT OF PUBLIC DANCES. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville does <br /> <br />hereby ordain: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Chapter 106 of the City Code of the City of Roseville <br /> <br />is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />106. Public Dances <br /> <br />106.010. License Required. No person shall <br />conduct a public dance without a license, as is <br />hereinafter provided. <br /> <br />106.020. Definition. A "public dance" is <br />defined as an occasion held at any place open to <br />the public, whether or not a charge for admission <br />is made, where dancing is carried on by the public, <br />except dances conducted by private or public schools <br />on school premises shall not be considered "public <br />dances" . <br /> <br />106.030. License Application. Applicants <br />for licenses to conduct public dances shall submit <br />the following information to the City: <br /> <br />1. Name, address, age and employment <br />history of applicant; if a corporation is <br />the applicant, then such information shall <br />be provided concerning each director of the <br />corporation. <br /> <br />2. Address of the place where the <br />public dances are to be conducted; at the <br />special request of the City Manager, plans <br />of the location of the public dances shall <br />be provided, describing the health, fire <br />and safety facilities at such location. <br /> <br />3. Dates and times of each dance to <br />be conducted during the calendar year the <br />application is made. <br />
