CITY OF ROSEVILLE ORDINANCE NO. 864 * * * * * * AN ORDINANCE A}illNDING CHAPTER 129 OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE REQUIRING THE LICENSING OF MASSEURS AND MASSEUSES AND REGULATING THE PRACTICE OF MASSAGE. The City Council of the City of Roseville does hereby ordain: Section 129.050 is amended to read as follows: 129.050. Practice of Massage Only by Registered Persons. (a) No business shall employ or use any person as a masseur or masseuse, as defined hereby, unless such person is registered with the City of Roseville as provided herein. (b) No person shall engage in the business of the practice of massage as a masseur or masseuse with- out being registered as provided herein. The City Code of the City of Roseville is hereby amended by the additionof Section 129.055 to read as follows: 129.055. Registration of Masseurs and Masseuses. (a) Application for registration. Any person desiring to be registered shall file an application on forms provided by the City Manager. The application shall contain such information as the City Manager may require, including: (1) The applicant's full name, address, social security number and written proof of age. (2) The name and address of the licensed massage establishment by which the applicant expects to be employed. (3) A statement concerning whether the per- son has been convicted of or entered a plea of guilty to any crime or ordinance violation, and if so, information as to the time, place and nature of such crime or offense.
