<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 865 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTERS 151 AND 153 OF THE <br />CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE AND ADOPTING A NEW CHAPTER <br />151 DEALING WITH LIQUOR LICENSES AND WINE LICENSES. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Chapters 151 and 153 of the City Code of the City of Roseville are <br /> <br />hereby repealed <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />A new Chapter 151 of the City Code of the City of Roseville is <br /> <br />hereby adopted to read as follows: <br /> <br />151. LIQUOR AND WINE LICENSES <br /> <br />151.010. Provisions of State Law Adopted. The <br />provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 340, relating to <br />the definition of terms, licensing, consumption, sales, <br />conditions of bonds and licenses, hours of sale, and all <br />other matters pertaining to the retail sale, distribution, <br />and consumption of intoxicating liquor are adopted and <br />made a part of this ordinance as if set out in full. <br /> <br />151.020. License Required. <br /> <br />Subd. 1. General Requirement. No person, except <br />a wholesaler or manufacturer to the extent authorized <br />under state license, shall directly or indirectly deal in, <br />sell, or keep for sale in the City any intoxicating liquor <br />without a license to do so as provided in this ordinance. <br />Liquor licenses shall be of four kinds: "on-sale", "on-sale" <br />wine, club and special Sunday. All licenses shall expire on <br />December 31 of each year. <br /> <br />Subd. 2. On-sale Licenses. "On-sale" licenses <br />shall be issued only to hotels and restaurants and shall <br />permit "on-sale" of liquor only, for consumption on the <br />licensed premises only, in conjunction with the sale of <br />food. For the purposes of this ordinance, the following <br />definitions are adopted: <br /> <br />(a) Hotel. A hotel is any establishment having a <br />resident proprietor or manager, where, in <br />
