<br />prOVISions of Minnesota Statutes, Section 34-0.12 relating <br />to liability insurance policies. <br /> <br />Subd. 3. Approval of Insurance. Liability insur- <br />ance policies shall be approved as to form by the city <br />attorney. Operation of a licensed business without having <br />on file with the city at all time an insurance policy as <br />required in Subdivision 2 is a cause for revocation of the <br />license. All insurance policies shall state that the city <br />will be given ten days notice, in writing, of cancellation. <br /> <br />151.04-0. License Fees. <br /> <br />Subd. 1. The annual license fee for "on-sale" <br />intoxicating liquor is $7,000.00. The annual license fee <br />for a wine license is $1,500.00. The annual license fee for <br />a special club license is $100.00. The annual license fee <br />for a Sunday "on-sale" is $200.00. <br /> <br />Subd. 2. The entire fee for club and special <br />Sunday licenses and $500.00 of the fee for "on-sale" <br />intoxicating liquor licenses and for wine licenses shall be <br />paid before the application is accepted and the remaining <br />balance, if any, shall be paid before the license is issued. <br />All fees shall be paid into the general fund of the city. <br />Upon rejection of any application for a license, or upon <br />the withdrawal of the application before approval of the <br />issuance by the city council, the license fee shall be <br />refunded to the applicant except where the rejection is <br />for willful misstatement on the license application. <br /> <br />Subd. 3. The fee for "on-sale" and "on-sale" wine <br />licenses granted after the commencement of the license <br />year shall be pro rated on a monthly basis. <br /> <br />Subd. 4. At the time of each original application <br />for a license, except special club licenses, the applicant <br />shall pay in full an investigating fee. The investigating <br />fee shall be $300.00. No investigation fee shall be <br />refunded. <br /> <br />151.050. Granting of Licenses. <br /> <br />Subd. 1. Investigation and Issuance. The city <br />council shall investigate all facts set out in the applica- <br />tion. Opportunity shall be given to any person to be heard <br />for or against the granting of the license. After the <br />investigation and hearing, the council shall, in its discre- <br />tion, grant or refuse the application. At least ten days <br />published notice of the hearing shall be given, setting <br />forth the name of the applicant and the address of the <br />premises to be licensed. <br />
