<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 867 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE UNIFORM FIRE CODE BY REFERENCE <br />AND MAKING CERTAIN OTHER CHANGES IN CHAPTER 35 OF THE CITY <br />CODE CONFORMING WITH THE UNIFORM FIRE CODE. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Chapter 35 of the City Code of the City of Roseville is hereby amended to <br /> <br />read as follows: <br /> <br />35. Uniform Fire Code <br /> <br />35.010. Adoption of Uniform Fire Code. The <br />Uniform Fire Code, 1979 Edition, as promulgated by the <br />International Conference of Building Officials and the <br />Western Fire Chiefs Association is hereby adopted by <br />reference and made a part of the City Code. Whenever <br />the term "State Fire Marshal" appears in the Uniform Fire <br />Code, it shall include the Fire Marshal of the City of <br />Roseville. <br /> <br />35.020. Establishment and Duties of the Office of <br />Fire Marshal. <br /> <br />(a) The Uniform Fire Code shall be enforced by <br />the Office of the Fire Marshal in the Fire Department of <br />the City of Roseville. <br /> <br />(b) The Fire Marshal shall be appointed by the <br />City Manager. <br /> <br />(c) The Chief of the Fire Department may detail <br />members of the Fire Department as assistant Fire <br />Marshals. <br /> <br />(d) A report of the office of the Fire Marshal shall <br />be made annually and shall be transmitted to the City <br />Manager. It shall contain all proceedings under this Code, <br />with such statistics as the City Manager may require. <br /> <br />35.030.
