<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 879 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 13.150 THROUGH 13.220 AND <br />ADDING A NEW CHAPTER 19 DEALING WITH PLANNED UNIT DEVELOP- <br />MENTS. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Sections 13.150 through 13.220 of the City Code of the City of Roseville <br /> <br />are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />The City Code of the City of Roseville is hereby amended by adding a new <br /> <br />Chapter 19, to read as follows: <br /> <br />19. Planned Unit Development (PUD) <br /> <br />19.010. Definition of Planned Unit Development (PUD). A <br />Planned Unit Development is a cluster development for residential or <br />business purposes on one or more parcels of land wherein traditional <br />rigid set-back, side-yard, density and land use requirements of the <br />zoning code are relaxed to permit the clustering of residential or <br />business structures and providing for common open space, ingress and <br />egress roadways, and parking. <br /> <br />19.020. Procedure. The owner of a parcel or parcels in any <br />residential (IIR ,,) or business (liB") district seeking to develop a PUD <br />for residential or business purposes, as permitted in the appropriate <br />zoning classification of the zoning code, may apply to the Council for <br />approval of a PUD. Multiple parcels classified in more than one type <br />of business zone may be developed as a single tract and may include <br />uses permitted in any of those business zones, if the uses are <br />specified in the approved plan. In addition, up to five percent (5%) of <br />the land in the PUD may be put to uses not allowed in the underlying <br />zoning classification if such uses are specified in the approved plan. <br /> <br />19.130.
