<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 895 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />BY ADDING SECTIONS 5.265, 5.555, and 8.380 THROUGH 8.430, PERTAINING <br />TO "B-4" RETAIL OFFICE SERVICE DISTRICTS. <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />The City Code of the City of Roseville is hereby amended by <br />adding Section 5.265, to read as follows: <br /> <br />5.265. Electronic Equipment, Medical Instrumentation <br />Devices. Electronic equipment and medical instrumentation <br />devices shall mean both computer hardware and software, word <br />processing equipment, calculators, medical supplies, prosthetic <br />devices, and similar products. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />The City Code of the City of Roseville lS hereby amended by <br />adding Section 5.555, to read as follows: <br /> <br />5.555. Office Service Buildings. "Office Service <br />Buildings" are buildings in which the principal use and <br />overall appearance is that of a typical office building, but <br />in which up to 50 percent of the total floor area may be <br />devoted to a related service function such as wholesaling, <br />retailing, fabrication, processing, and storage related <br />thereto, and shall have a ceiling height restricted to 14 <br />feet. Truck loading docks attached to such buildings shall <br />be located in a courtyard area, fully enclosed by office <br />service buildings, except for ingress and egress openings. <br /> <br />III. <br /> <br />The City Code of the City of Roseville is hereby amended by <br />adding new Sections 8.380 through 8.430, to read as follows: <br /> <br />8.380. Purpose. The purpose of the Retail Office Service <br />District is to provide for a limited mixture of land uses, made <br />mutually compatible through controls and high quality standards, <br />to facilitate more intensive and higher valued development and <br />redevelopment of areas convenient to the Metropolitan market <br />
