<br />ARTICLE XIV. <br /> <br />JOINT SYSTEM, ACCEPTANCE, <br />INCORPORATION OF OFFERING, EXHIBITS, PUBLICATION <br /> <br />SECTION 1. OTHER FRANCHISES <br /> <br />( <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />The System intended for City may be part of a joint system that <br />serves the cities of Arden Hills, Falcon Heights, Lauderdale, <br />Little Canada, Mounds View, New Brighton, North Oaks, <br />Roseville, St. Anthony, and Shoreview, Minnesota. <br /> <br />B. Grantee will, in good faith, apply for and accept, if offered to <br />it, a franchise (similar franchise) from each of the other cities <br />on aU the same terms and conditions herein provided, except <br />provisions omitted as inapplicable. <br /> <br />C. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Franchise, if less <br />than all of the other of said cities offer a similar franchise to <br />Grantee, which is accepted by Grantee, Grantee or City may <br />cancel this Franchise and all of their obligations hereunder by <br />written notice given to the other not later than 30 days after all <br />the other of said cities shall have formally acted upon their <br />respective franchise ordinances; provided, that if Grantee <br />elects to cancel this Franchise pursuant hereto, it must also <br />cancel aU other franchises granted to it by the other of said <br />cities effective simultaneously herewith. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. TIME OF ACCEPTANCE; GUARANTEE; INCORPORATION OF <br />OFFERING; EXHIBITS <br /> <br />A. Grantee shall have 30 days from the last date of adoption of a <br />similar franchise by all of the cities listed in Section I.A of this <br />Article, to accept this Franchise in form and substance <br />acceptable to City. However, in no event will acceptance occur <br />later than 90 days after the effective date of this Franchise, <br />unless the time for acceptance is extended by City. Such <br />acceptance by Grantee shall be deemed the grant of this <br />Franchise for all purposes. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Upon acceptance of this Franchise, Grantee shall be bound by <br />all the terms and condiitons contained herein. Grantee shaU <br />provide all services and offerings specifically set forth in the <br />Offering to provide cable communication service within City <br />and other cities included in or a part of a joint system; and, by <br />its acceptance of this Franchise, Grantee specifically agrees <br />that the Offering of Grantee, including aU promises, offers, <br />representations, and inducements contained therein, is specifi- <br />cally incorporated by reference and made part of this Fran- <br />chise.
