<br />Ordinance No. 995 <br /> <br />280.040. Amount. The indemnification of Section <br />280.020 applies regardless of the amount of the claim, <br />even if claims are in excess of limits set by Minnesota <br />Law. <br /> <br />280.050. Immunity. The City of Roseville is not <br />waiving any limit or immunity of liability established by <br />Minnesota Law and reserves the right to assert such <br />limits or immunity in defending any person pursuant to <br />this Chapter. <br /> <br />280.060. Insurance. The City Council will have <br />sole discretion to purchase insurance or self-insure for <br />the protection of the persons covered by Chapter 280. <br /> <br />280.070. Exceptions. The insurance and <br />indemnification established by Chapter 280 shall not <br />apply to the following acts or conduct. <br /> <br />(a) Action or conduct beyond the scope of a <br />person's employment or responsibility. <br /> <br />(b) Intentional acts which violate any of the <br />following: <br /> <br />Criminal statutes, ordinances or regulations <br />of the united States, the State of Minnesota, <br />or the City of Roseville, except petty <br />misdemeanors. <br /> <br />(c) Intentional acts which violate an established <br />City policy as set forth by the City Manager <br />or City Council. <br /> <br />II <br /> <br />Said Ordinance shall be in full force and effect <br /> <br />from and after its passage and publication. <br /> <br />PASSED by the City Council of the City of Roseville <br /> <br />this -12thday of March <br /> <br />, 1986. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~J.~ <br /> <br />tJI Manager <br /> <br />(;1 <br />{/- <br /> <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />2 <br />
