The Village has heretofore instituted, ordered ~nd contracted for the
construction of water utility improvements numbered 62-2, 64-~., 64-5 and 64-6, pur-
suant to and in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429.
The proceedings for each of said improvements were instituted in 1964, except that
the construction of Improvement No. 62-2, instituted and ordeI'ed in 1962, was de-
layed pending the conclusion of litigation respecting certain matters affecting that
improvement, and could not be completed until 1964. The proceedings for each of
said improvements having been effectively instituted at substentially the same dates,
and all such improvements having now been substantially completed or being near com-
pletion and the cost thereof having been ascertained, it is hereby determined that
all of said improvements, although separately instituted, can be more economically
completed if consolidated and joined as one project for the pt~se of further pro-
ceedings; inasmuch as the areas benefited by the several impr(~ements overlap to a
substantial extent, and it is desirable that a single assessment roll should be pre-
pared in order to advise the owner of each parcel of the total amount proposed to be
assessed upon such parcel for benefits conferred thereon by a:r.,y of such improvements.
Pursuant to the authority contained in Minnesota Statutes, Section 435.56, the future
proceedings for these separate improvements are hereby consolj, dated, and henceforth
all proceedings shall be conducted in all respects as if the various separate pro-
ceedings had originally been instituted as one proceeding.

-1-
