WHEREAS M.S. 429.061, Subd. 4 relates to the collection of assessments against tax exempt property or railroad right of way, and provides that interest shall not commence until notice .- has been given of the adoption of assessments and provides for a 30 day prepayment privilege after such notice has been properly given, and ViliEREAS Minnesota Transfer Railroad Company, after the cr;:nsmissicn of the assessment roll to the County Auditor, but )rior to the expiration of the 30 day prepayment privilege period, paid the Village Treasurer in full on the following: Parcel Number Da1e of E~c€iQi Receipt Number Am~~~l 79005001006 79005001007 11/17/64 11/17/64 17892 $8,450.00 17892 7,160.00 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council cf the Village of Roseville, Minnesota as fc~lows: 1. That the prepayments of the Minnesota Transfer Rai .TOad Company in the above amounts is hereby deemed and determined by the village to have been timely received, without interest penalty to be assessed, and that said assessment shall be marked "prepaid" and the County Auditor shall not be required to extend said assess -ment for collection as provided in said assessment resolution, assessment roll, and certificate of transmittal. 2. That the village manager is directed to send a certified copy of this resolution to the County Auditor of Ramsey County and the Machin~ Accounting Division of Ramsey County to effectuate the foregoing, and th2 Ransey County Auditor is hereby directed and authorized to proG?s~ ~n accordance herewith and as provided herein and to Temove sa~G as~essments heretofore certified by the Council to him as to tho foreQoing above described parcel numbers.
