<br />RESOLUT ION NO. 1130 <br /> <br />RESOLUT ION RELATING TO LONG LAKE ROAD, <br />COUNTY ROAD B-2, ST. CROIX STREET STREET <br />IMPROVEMENT ASSESSMENTS, PREPAID ASSESS- <br />MENts OF MINNESOTA TRANSFER RAILROAD COMPANY <br /> <br />WHEREAS pursuant to statute, a public hearing regarding <br />proposed assessments on Long Lake Road, County Road B-2, St. <br />Croix Street Street Improvement was held, and on October 12, <br />1964 a resolution confirming assessments fo~ said water improve- <br />ment was adopted, which resolution provided a period of 30 days <br />~;:'or prepaYment without interest penalty for owners of any parc( 1.5 <br />of land, and thereafter said assessment roll to be transmittec <br />to the County Auditor's office to be extended upon the proper <br />tax lists of the county for collection, and <br />WHEREAS M.S. 429.061. Subd. 4 relates to the collection <br />of assessments against tax exempt property or railroad right of <br />way, and provides that interest shall not commence until noticE <br />has been given of the adoption of assessments and provides for <br />a 30 day prepayment privilege after such notice has been properly <br /> <br />given, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS Minnesota Transfer Railroad Company, after the <br />transmission of the assessment roll to the County Auditor, but <br />prior to the expiration of the 30 day prepayment privilege period, <br />paid the Village Treasurer in full on the following: <br /> <br />Parcel Number <br />79008010029 <br /> <br />Da~e..2f Receipt <br />11/17/64 <br /> <br />Recei~~ Number Amount <br />17893 $14,024.60 <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of <br />the Village of Roseville, Minnesota 8S follows: <br />
