-2- in connection with said proposed improvements that accurate costs and construction data be received and hereby authorizes and directs the Village Clerk to prepare and cause to be inserted in the official Village newspaper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids on the making of such improvements under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published as required by law and shall specify the work to be done, shall call for the bids on the basis of the cash payment for such work and shall state that bids will be opened by the Village Manager and Public Works Director at 11:30 A.M., May 7, 1965, at the Village Halli that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check for ten percent (10%) of the amount of such bid, to be forfeited in the event the successful bidder fails to enter into a contracti and that no bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the date and time set for the opening of the bids. 3. The Council wi 11 consider the proposed sanitary sewer, storm sewer and water improvements in the Lakeview Addition in accord- ance with the preliminary report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 429.011 to 429.111 (laws 1963, Chapter 398 as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $150,015.00 at a public hearing on the 10th day of May, 1965, in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall at 7:30 P.M. and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Shields, and upon vote being taken thereon all voted in favor of the resolution. whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
