<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD AUGUST 13, 1965. <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting <br />of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly <br />called and held at the Village Hall in said Village on August 13, 1965 <br />at 5: 30 p. m. The following members were pre sent: <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Curley, Trustees Goodrich, Grauel and Shields <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: <br /> <br />Mayor Cedarho1m <br /> <br />Member Goodrich <br />and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1293 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO ACQUIRE BY EMINENT <br />DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS EASEMENTS ACROSS CERTAIN LANDS FOR THE <br />PURPOSES OF CONSTRUCTING, MAINTAINING AND OPERATING STORM <br />SEWER MAINS, PIPES AND APPURTENANCES FOR THE VILLAGE OF <br />ROSEVILLE. MINNESOTA, AND DIRECTING THAT THE NECESSARY <br />PROCEEDINGS BE INSTITUTED FOR SAID PURPOSE, AS A PART OF <br />IMPROVEMENT NOS. 65-7, 65-8 and 65-9. <br /> <br />WHEREAS1 the Village Council for the Village of Roseville has <br />been advised by competent engineers that it is feasible to construct <br />storm sewer mainsl pipes and appurtenances for a portion of said <br />Village, known as Improvement Nos. 65-7, 65-8 and 65-9; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village Council deems it necessary and <br />expedient and in the best interests of the Village and its inhabitants <br />that storm sewer mains, pipes and appurtenances be constructed on <br />the lands proposed to be taken by eminent domain hereunder; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the statutes of the State of Minnesota state that <br />the Village has the power and authority to take and acquire said property <br />by condemnation under the power of eminent domain; and <br />
