<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD AUGUST 30, 1965. <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special <br />meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, was duly called and held at the Village Hall in <br />said Village on August 30, 1965, at 1:56, p.m. The following <br />members were present: <br /> <br />Mayor Cedarholm, Trustees Curley, Goodrich, <br />Grauel and Shields <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Member Grauel introduced the following <br />resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 132,S <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO ACQUIRE BY EMINENT DOMAIN <br />AN EASEMENT ACROSS CERTAIN LANDS FOR THE PURPOSES OF CON- <br />STRUCTING, MAINTAINING AND OPERATING SANITARY SEWER MAINS, <br />PIPES AND APPURTENANCES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, <br />MINNESOTA, AND DIRECTING THAT THE NECESSARY PROCEEDINGS BE <br />INSTITUTED FOR SAID PURPOSES, AS A PART OF SANITARY SEWER <br />IMPROVEMENTS NOS 1 AND 2. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village Council for the Village of <br />Roseville has been advised by competent engineers that it <br />is feasible to construct sanitary sewer mains, pipes and <br />appurtenances for a portion of said Village, known as <br />Sanitary Sewer Improvements Nos 1 and 2j and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village Council deems it necessary and <br />expedient and in the best interests of the Village and its <br />inhabitants that sanitary sewer mains, pipes and appurtenances <br />be constructed on the lands proposed to be taken by eminent <br />domain hereunderj and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the present owners and other persons having <br />an interest in said required lands have indicated that they <br />are unwilling to negotiate with the Village on a reasonable <br />basis for the acquisition of the samej and <br />
