<br />-2- <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a number of property owners affected by said original <br />assessment have raised inquiry regarding possible errors, omissions <br />or incorrect assessments and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village Clerk of said Village has notified said property <br />owners by mail that a proposed reassessment and supplemental assessment <br />hearing would be held sometime during 1965, after the Counci 1 had the <br />opportunity of determining such details and, <br /> <br />MfEREAS, the Village Clerk of the Village of Roseville has a list of <br />all of the property owners in said Village affected and who have requested <br />the opportunity of appearing before the Council in a reassessment hearing <br />to point out the nature of their complaint and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the municipal attorney advises that one or more parcels may <br />have been incorrectly assessed and may be invalid and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, several tracts of land upon which assessments have heretofore <br />been levied have subsequently been platted and subdivided and apportionments <br />must be made therefor, <br /> <br />NOw THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE Village of <br />Roseville, Minnesota: <br /> <br />l. Pursuant to M. S. 429.071 in order to dispose of the matters <br />above mentioned, a hearing shall be held on the 13th day of December, 1965 <br />in the Village Hall at 7:30 o'clock p.m. to pass upon such proposed <br />supplemental reassessment and reapportionment of original assessments <br />and at such time and place all persons owning property affected thereby will <br />be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such original assessment. <br /> <br />2. The Village Clerk is hereby directed to cause notice of said re- <br />apportionment, reassessment and supplemental assessment hearing to be published <br />once in the official newspaper of said Village at least two weeksprior to <br />the hearing, stating in said notice the pertinent statutory required data. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br /> <br />seconded by Member Shields, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br /> <br />voted in favor thereof: All present <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
