<br />nOSEVIL1E PLANNING COMMISSION <br />MINUTES OF 'rHE REGULAR MEE.'TING <br />OCTOBER 11, 1961 <br /> <br />Chairman Membrez called the meeting to order at 7:55 p.m. Commissioners Bell, Grauel, <br />Membrez, Simerman and Swanson were present. Planner Dahlgren was also present. <br />Commissioners Chestnut and Soike were absent. <br /> <br />10-1l-56 <br /> <br />Rosedale Addition No. 3 - Roselawn and Cleveland Avenues. <br /> <br />Mr. Tolstad telephoned the secretary requesting additional time to <br />prepare the plat. <br /> <br />Bell moved, Simerman seconded that the preliminary pJa. t of Roseda.le <br />Addition No.3 be continued at our meeting scheduled for November 1, <br />1961. Carried unanimously. <br /> <br />lO-1l-7l <br /> <br />Maier Rezoning (R-l to R-3) - Rice street just South of Minnesota Avenue. <br /> <br />Jerome Loftsgaarden requested by letter dated September 19, 1961 to <br />continue action on the rezoning at the November 1, 1961 meeting. <br /> <br />Simerman moved, Bell seconded that the petition for rezoning be continued <br />at our November meeting. Carried unanimously. <br /> <br />10-11-78 <br /> <br />Tschida Owasso Hills - South of South Owasso Boulevard - Just East of <br />Western Avenue. <br /> <br />The plat was referred to the Recreation Board to determine if any of <br />the proper~ will be required for park purposes. A recommendation from <br />the Board has not been received by the Commission. <br /> <br />Grauel moved, Simerman seconded that the plat be considered at the <br />meeting scheduled for November 1, 1961. Carried unanimously. <br /> <br />10-11-80 <br /> <br />Century Fence Compan~ proposes to construct an addition to its building <br />which would bring the property within 5 feet of the property line. The <br />rear portion of the property is used for open storage. This lies within <br />land zoned R-l and is allowed as a non-oonforming use. The Commission <br />should consider the following conditions if a variance is granted: <br /> <br />1) The Company shall provide and maintain adequate screening between <br />the storage yard and the adjacent residential property; <br /> <br />2) The C,u1Jany shall .clean and maintain the premises in a satisfactory <br />manner. <br /> <br />Bell moved, Grauel seconded that the Century Fence Company be requested <br />to furnish a detailed plat prepared by a registered surveyor to <br />determine the property lines, existing buildings and foundations so <br />further consideration can be given to its request. Carried unanimously. <br />
